    @ Jarr☀d,

I am so proud of your work on your blog and have enjoyed you teaching me about blogging and creating your own post.

I hope you meet your goal. I think you might get more than 300 visitors to your blog before the end of the term.

I love how Australia is so big with so many different places to explore but doesn’t have a huge population compared to other countries.

If I could go overseas I’d love to go to Europe as there are so many countries and you don’t have far to go to get to another one. I did love spending a year in America and thought it was funny that we both spoke English but most of my friends couldn’t understand the words I used as they were slang like car park instead of parking lot.

    Keep up the great work.

    Dear Jarrβ˜€d,

That is a great goal. As you know, we always like making goals in 2KM and 2KJ.

I am sure you will get to your goal of 300 visitors by the end of Term Three.

I am also impressed with your screen capture and your glitter text – wow!

I have just put a tweet on Twitter to see if some people can take the time to visit your blog. As you know, I am friends with lots of teachers from all around the world on Twitter. If some of them visit your blog, you might get a few new red dots! πŸ˜†

    Hello Jarrod,
I’m an English teacher living in Tokyo, Japan. I’m originally from Canada. I guess I think of both Canada and Japan as my countries. I’m having a hard time deciding how to answer your first question. Both Canada and Japan are very interesting to me. I love the diversity of Canada. My hometown, Toronto, has been recognised by the UN as the most multicultural city in the world. Over 50% of Torontonians are New Canadians! Perhaps the diversity is the most interesting thing about Japan too. Perhaps this sounds strange because most people, including most Japanese, think that Japan is a homogenous country, but in fact it is quite diverse. Japan always surprises me!!
I love to travel. I have visited over 20 countries. I think I’d like to visit Egypt next. I want to see the Great Pyramid and the Sphinx.
I hope you reach your goal. Keep dreaming, because dreams come true!!!

I found your comment very interesting to read and learnt lots of things about Canada and Japan. I would love to visit the Pyramids to see all the things that were built a long time ago. I know that there are camels in Egypt, I have riden a camel before at our school festa and also feed a camel a carrot using my mouth and the photo appeared in our local newspaper.

Would love to travel everywhere, however, it’s my dream to travel to South Africa and visit Kruger National Park.

Good luck with your goal! I found out about your blog via your teacher and twitter.

    Hi Jarrod

I have a cluster map on my blog too and I get excited when I see a dot from somewhere new. I am enjoying watching the map fill up … slowly πŸ˜€

An interesting fact about Australia … according to “The 7pm project” 90% of Aussies tell the truth!

The next country I would like to visit is Morroco. I have never been to Africa and what I have seen on the TV makes me think it will be very different to Australia.

Good luck with your blog and your goal.

    Hi Jarrod,

I have no doubt you will achieve your goal.

Although I don’t live overseas, I believe I live in one of Australia’s best locations – Bunbury in WA.

Last year I travelled to New Zealand and found it a fascinating place.

In the future, I hope to be able to gaze upon the pyramids and climb the Eiffel Tower.

    Hi Jarrod ,
Good luck getting 300 blogs ! You are doing so well .
Up here in Mildura which is 6 hours drive from your place , it is Orange and Mandarin season.
There are many fruit pickers in town all the caravan parks and backpackers are full. There are trucks everywhere full to overflowing with oranges going to the Mildura fruit company where they get packed and sent all over australia and the world . They also process many for orange juice. The grape vines at the moment are all bare , they have been pruned ready for spring when they will all shoot new leaves and start to grow fruit. It is a very interesting region to live in expecially with the change of the seasons.
Have a good day . Love sharon

    Hi Jarrod,
What a great goal for your website. I’m sure you will reach 300 visitors in no time.

I’ve lived in 3 countries in my life. Like Michael Stout, I am Canadian since I was born there. I left Canada when I was little and grew up in New Zealand. But I also lived in South Korea for four years. Living in Korea was hard at first, but once I learned how to speak Korean it got easier.

The countries I want to visit next are India, Chile and Argentina.

Hi Jarrod. I am from Melbourne, but originally I come from Wales in the UK. An interesting fact about Wales is that the smallest Church in the world is there. In fact, it’s in the town where I grew up. If you visit my blog mrsrutherford.global2.vic.edu.au and look at the photos page, you can see a picture of it. It’s really tiny.
Well done with your great blog. Would you mind if I showed it to my grade 3/4’s? They will be making their own blogs this term. You might be able to give them some advice.
    All the best,

    Aloha Jarrod,
You’ve asked such interesting questions & I’ve enjoyed reading the answers. I live on the island of Oahu and my United States fact concerns Hawaii. Iolani Palace, located in Honolulu, is the only royal palace in the United States.
I would love to travel to Split, Croatia because it was the home of my grandmother and I would like to see where she was born.

    Hi Jarrod,

Wow, what a great blog! I am very impressed with all the widgets and embedded features you have included in your blog. I especially like the Joke of the Day widget; I think I might try and pop that on our blog too! Your posts and comments are all very well written and show what a mature writer you are!

Since I am from Australia I might give you an interesting fact about our town, Berwick. Did you know that it was home to Australia’s first Olympic Gold Medallist, Edwin Flack? We have a statue of him in our High Street and a number of ovals named after him.

If I could visit any country in the world, I would like to visit Canada. The Canadian environment looks so diverse and I would really like to see somewhere cold and chilly. They also have a lot of historical sights I would love to see.

Keep up the fanstasic efforts. I am going to subscribe so I can keep an eye out for the latest posts!
